Introduction

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Dosen Tahfidz serta Pengajar Bahasa Arab to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will combine deep religious knowledge, strong moral character, and proven teaching experience to inspire and guide our students in both Quranic memorization and Arabic language mastery.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans for Quran memorization (Tahfidz) covering all 30 Juz, ensuring students meet memorization milestones.
- Teach Arabic language courses ranging from beginner to advanced levels, focusing on grammar, rhetoric, and Qur’anic Arabic.
- Develop and assess written and oral examinations, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Mentor students in spiritual development, emphasizing strong aqidah, akhlak, and adherence to Islamic ethics.
- Coordinate with fellow faculty to integrate Islamic studies, ensuring a cohesive curriculum across departments.
- Organize and lead weekly halaqah sessions, workshops, and seminars on dawah, Islamic pedagogy, and contemporary issues.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, grade books, and progress reports using Microsoft Office and institutional software.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development programs, and community outreach activities.
- Uphold institutional policies, health and safety standards, and maintain a respectful learning environment.
- Provide guidance to students preparing for national and international Arabic proficiency examinations.
Requirements
- Male (Ikhwan) candidate, maximum age of 35 years.
- Strong Islamic faith (aqidah) and exemplary moral character (akhlak).
- Minimum education: Master’s degree (S2) in Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, or related field; linear studies preferred.
- Alumni of Universitas Islam Madinah, LIPIA, or Gontor are highly valued.
- Complete memorization of the Quran (30 Juz) with an authentic sanad is a distinct advantage.
- Fluent, active Arabic language proficiency, both spoken and written.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience in a madrasa, university, or reputable Islamic education center.
- Minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
- Disciplined, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Own a motorcycle and a personal laptop for commuting and lesson preparation.
- Good physical and mental health; not currently enrolled in another formal education program.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic educational technology tools.
