Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Engineer Proses (MEP) – Pengembangan & Optimasi Proses to join our dynamic team in Cikokol, Tangerang. This position focuses on the design, operation, and continuous improvement of wastewater treatment facilities, including STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), WTP (Water Treatment Plant), and WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory compliance while supporting Indonesia’s growing demand for clean water and environmentally responsible infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed process designs for new STP/WTP/WWTP projects using AutoCAD and industry‑standard simulation tools.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses, and risk assessments to guide project scoping and budgeting.
- Optimize existing treatment processes by applying advanced modeling, pilot‑testing, and data‑driven performance monitoring.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, regional, and national regulations governing wastewater treatment and environmental protection.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams—including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers—to integrate MEP solutions seamlessly.
- Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and construction documents in both Bahasa Indonesia and English for client review.
- Support construction and commissioning phases by conducting site inspections, troubleshooting operational issues, and providing on‑site technical guidance.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging treatment technologies, such as membrane bioreactors, advanced oxidation processes, and resource recovery systems.
- Foster strong relationships with regulatory agencies, contractors, and key stakeholders to facilitate smooth project approvals.
- Mentor junior engineers and fresh graduates, sharing best practices in process design, regulatory interpretation, and project management.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in designing or operating STP, WTP, or WWTP projects; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and layout creation.
- Working knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian government regulations and standards related to wastewater treatment (e.g., PP No. 22/2017, SNI 04‑6725‑2002).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret process data, perform calculations, and recommend improvements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, essential for collaborating with cross‑functional teams and presenting technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with one half‑day off each week, and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
