Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Language Teacher (Guru Bahasa Inggris) to join our vibrant secondary school community. This full‑time position is ideal for a passionate educator who holds at least a Bachelor’s degree in English Education, possesses a minimum of one year of teaching experience, and is eager to contribute to the academic and personal growth of our students. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 06:30 AM to 02:30 PM, in a supportive environment that values continuous professional development, innovative teaching practices, and strong collaboration among staff and families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned English lessons to primary (SD) and secondary classes, employing differentiated instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
- Design, develop, and continuously update teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools that incorporate modern pedagogical approaches and digital resources.
- Utilize educational technology—including interactive whiteboards, learning management systems, and online assessment platforms—to enhance student participation and track progress.
- Administer classroom management strategies that foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Complete all required administrative duties, such as attendance records, grade submissions, and monthly teaching reports, with accuracy and timeliness.
- Participate actively in school development initiatives, including curriculum review committees, faculty workshops, and community outreach programs.
- Maintain open, proactive communication with parents and guardians, providing regular feedback on student performance and addressing concerns promptly.
- Serve as a mentor and advisor for extracurricular activities, including English clubs, debate teams, and cultural events, encouraging student leadership and creativity.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to share best practices, co‑plan interdisciplinary projects, and support a cohesive educational vision.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in English Education or a related field.
- At least 1 year of proven teaching experience, preferably in a bilingual or multilingual setting.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both spoken and written.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction effectively.
- Excellent communication and public‑speaking skills, with a talent for building rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and an innovative mindset to design engaging lessons and adapt to evolving educational trends.
- Effective team‑player who contributes positively to school culture and collaborative projects.
