Introduction
Hanifa Islamic School in Pamulang, South Tangerang, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English teachers to join our Guru Bahasa Inggris (Program Magang) internship. The program is designed for recent graduates or current students who possess a solid academic foundation in English language studies and a passion for teaching within an Islamic educational context.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging English language lessons for primary and secondary students, aligning with the school’s curriculum and Salaf methodology.
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate multimedia resources, interactive activities, and digital platforms to enhance learning outcomes.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, oral presentations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and classroom observations using Microsoft Office tools.
- Collaborate with senior teachers and curriculum developers to refine instructional strategies and integrate Islamic values into language instruction.
- Facilitate extracurricular English clubs, debate sessions, and reading circles to promote language immersion beyond the classroom.
- Participate in regular professional development workshops, staff meetings, and peer‑review sessions.
- Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4, preferably a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in English Language, English Literature, or a related field.
- Gender: Female (per program guidelines).
- Age: Up to 30 years old (flexible for recent graduates).
- Religious orientation: Ikhwan or Akhwat with a preference for candidates familiar with the Salaf methodology.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English; ability to teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking.
- Strong pedagogical skills, including classroom management, lesson differentiation, and student assessment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with digital learning tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom, educational apps).
- High motivation, punctuality, and a genuine enthusiasm for nurturing young learners.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 07:00‑15:30 WIB, with occasional Saturday sessions if required.
