Introduction
Apotek Perdana, a well‑established pharmacy located in the heart of Banjarmasin, is seeking a dedicated Tenaga Teknis Farmasi – Spesialis Pengujian dan Kualitas. This position is ideal for a motivated pharmacy technician or assistant pharmacist who is eager to contribute to safe medication dispensing, quality control, and exceptional patient service in a fast‑moving retail environment. Responsibilities
- Interpret and verify doctor’s prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare, compound, and label medications according to standard operating procedures and Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) guidelines.
- Conduct routine quality checks on incoming pharmaceutical supplies, including visual inspection, expiry date verification, and temperature monitoring.
- Maintain detailed records of compounding activities, batch logs, and inventory movements to support traceability and audits.
- Assist the licensed pharmacist in counseling patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
- Support the pharmacy’s inventory management by performing stock counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as workflow optimization, error reduction programs, and customer satisfaction projects.
- Adhere to occupational safety and health protocols, including the proper handling of hazardous substances and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Provide courteous and efficient front‑desk service during the shift, handling cash transactions, phone inquiries, and online order processing.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and regulatory bodies to resolve prescription issues and ensure timely medication delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMK Farmasi; preference given to candidates with D3 or S1 Pharmacy degrees.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a community pharmacy or hospital pharmacy setting.
- Residency in Banjarmasin with reliable personal motorbike for commuting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret medical prescriptions and perform accurate compounding.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
- Knowledge of Indonesian pharmaceutical regulations, drug classification, and OTC product handling.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, problem‑solving aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Flexibility to work the scheduled shift: Monday to Saturday, 15:00 – 22:00.
