We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guru Mengaji, Bahasa Inggris, dan Matematika to join our elementary school team in the historic city of Demak. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for Quranic studies (Mengaji), English language, and Mathematics for grades 1‑6.
- Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and varying levels of student proficiency.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, oral examinations, and practical activities, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson outcomes in accordance with school policies.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to design interdisciplinary projects that integrate religious values with core academic subjects.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, such as Quran memorization clubs, English conversation circles, and math competitions.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, professional development workshops, and community outreach events.
- Uphold school discipline standards, promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment, and model ethical behavior for students.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavioral concerns, and upcoming school events.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Islamic Studies, English, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Age: 18‑50 years.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Current university student or recent graduate may apply, provided they meet the experience criteria.
- For candidates with a high school (SMA) or pesantren background, at least one year of documented teaching experience is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in teaching English and Mathematics at the elementary level.
- Strong command of Quranic recitation and basic Arabic, enabling effective Mengaji instruction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students, parents, and colleagues.
- High moral standards: honesty, trustworthiness, punctuality, and adherence to school rules.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional flexibility for school events.
