Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Pengajar Asatidz dan Asatidzah to join our thriving Islamic educational institution. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans for Arabic language, Qur’an recitation, and related religious subjects, aligning with the school’s curriculum framework.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback and individualized support where needed.
- Facilitate classroom discussions that encourage critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and respectful dialogue among learners of diverse backgrounds.
- Mentor students in developing effective study habits, time management, and personal discipline, reinforcing the values of integrity and sincerity.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and the foundation’s board to continuously improve curriculum content and pedagogical approaches.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as Qur’an memorization clubs, Islamic debate societies, and community service projects.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student achievements, adhering to the institution’s data‑management policies.
- Participate in regular professional development workshops, seminars, and certification programs to stay current with educational best practices and religious scholarship.
- Uphold and model the school’s code of conduct, demonstrating punctuality, professionalism, and a respectful demeanor at all times.
- Engage with parents and guardians through scheduled meetings and progress reports, fostering transparent communication and partnership in the student’s educational journey.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in a linear discipline such as Education, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
- Additional qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language or a recognized Certificate of Competency in Arabic studies.
- Possession of a valid Syahadah or Sanad Al‑Qur’an confirming proficiency in Qur’anic recitation and memorization.
- Strong command of both Bahasa Indonesia and Arabic, enabling effective bilingual instruction.
- Demonstrated discipline, integrity, and a reputation for courteous, professional behavior.
- Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to integrate modern teaching technologies and interactive methods.
- Commitment to adhere to school and foundation regulations, policies, and cultural norms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students, colleagues, and community members.
- Willingness to work a full schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional participation in weekend events or religious observances.
- Experience in educational settings is advantageous but not mandatory; fresh graduates with a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
