Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed the sales targets set by the company on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Provide exceptional service to customers who visit the office or workshop, ensuring their inquiries are answered promptly and accurately.
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across mining, construction, industrial, and contractor segments.
- Prepare detailed quotations, technical proposals, and competitive pricing structures tailored to client specifications.
- Lead negotiations with customers, addressing objections, and closing deals while maintaining profitability.
- Conduct regular on‑site visits to customer locations and project sites to assess operational needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the operations, workshop, and logistics teams to confirm equipment availability, delivery schedules, and after‑sales support.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, track pipeline progress, and generate sales performance reports for management review.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new equipment technologies, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights.
- Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and build long‑term relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mining Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 2–5 years of proven sales experience in heavy‑equipment or related capital‑goods markets.
- Strong understanding of equipment applications in mining, construction, and industrial environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior decision‑makers.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation to contract signing.
- Established network within the mining or contractor sectors is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; familiarity with quotation software is a plus.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional travel to client sites and project locations.
- Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) education for basic eligibility; however, a university degree is required for the role.
