Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Collector Lapangan (Field Collector) to join our dynamic team in Prabumulih. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining healthy cash flow by conducting on‑site debt collection activities, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring timely payment of outstanding balances. Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits to customers for debt collection, adhering to a predefined route and schedule.
- Negotiate payment terms and settlements while maintaining a respectful and solution‑oriented approach.
- Collect cash or arrange alternative payment methods, ensuring proper receipt documentation.
- Prepare and submit daily visit reports, including details of payments received, outstanding amounts, and any issues encountered.
- Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly collection targets set by management.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update the company’s CRM system promptly.
- Identify and report any potential fraud or irregularities observed during collection activities.
- Collaborate with the finance and customer service teams to resolve disputes and improve collection processes.
- Continuously update knowledge of the local area to optimize routing and reduce travel time.
- Participate in regular training sessions to sharpen negotiation, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections; 2 + years preferred.
- Valid motorcycle (Roda Dua) and a current SIM C.
- Strong familiarity with the Prabumulih area and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a focus on building rapport.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and ability to use mobile reporting tools.
- Gender: open to all candidates.
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
