Introduction
We are a fast‑growing retail chain headquartered in Demak, specializing in everyday consumer goods, fashion accessories, and household essentials. To support our expanding footprint, we are looking for a dedicated Kasir Penjualan Retail who can manage transactions with accuracy and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, debit, credit, and digital payments efficiently.
- Verify product prices, apply discounts, and ensure correct tax calculations according to store policy.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer, conduct end‑of‑day reconciliations, and report any discrepancies to the store manager.
- Provide friendly, attentive service to customers, answer product‑related queries, and resolve minor complaints on the spot.
- Assist with inventory control by scanning items, tagging new merchandise, and updating stock levels in the system.
- Collaborate with sales associates and floor staff to keep checkout lanes organized and well‑stocked with bags, receipts, and promotional material.
- Generate daily sales reports, track key performance indicators, and communicate trends to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies on loss prevention, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new POS features, product knowledge, and customer service techniques.
- Support promotional events by processing high‑volume transactions quickly and accurately during peak periods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) – candidates with a high school (SMK/SMA) background are also considered if they demonstrate strong aptitude.
- Age limit: maximum 28 years.
- Gender: Open to both male and female candidates; the original posting preferred male, but we encourage all qualified applicants to apply.
- Prior experience in a retail cash handling or cashier role is highly desirable.
- Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Proficiency with standard cashier systems and basic computer skills.
- Residency in Demak or surrounding areas is preferred to facilitate reliable commuting.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
