Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, processing cash, credit, and digital payments with accuracy.
- Provide courteous and prompt assistance to customers, answering product inquiries and guiding them through promotions.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer, perform end‑of‑day reconciliations, and report any discrepancies to management.
- Assist with inventory control by scanning and labeling items, reporting low stock, and participating in periodic stock‑takes.
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and well‑stocked with receipts, bags, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with sales floor staff to manage queue flow during peak hours and support seamless store operations.
- Generate daily sales reports using MS Office tools and communicate key performance insights to supervisors.
- Uphold company policies regarding health, safety, and security, including regular sanitation of workstations.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on new products, POS upgrades, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Female candidates only.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (SLTA). Higher education is a plus.
- Maximum age: 27 years.
- Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday).
- Good physical and mental health to handle a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Proficient in basic computer operations and MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong interpersonal skills: polite, responsible, and able to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
- Honest, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn new processes and technologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and support collective goals.
- Basic arithmetic ability and experience with cash handling (previous cashier or retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory).
