Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and customer‑focused Restaurant Cashier (Kasir Restoran) to join our vibrant team at the Way Halim outlet in Bandar Lampung. This full‑time role operates on a shift basis, covering busy service hours from 09:30 to 21:00, seven days a week. As the front‑line representative of our dining establishment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth, accurate, and friendly transactions that enhance the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Process all payment types—including cash, debit, credit cards, and QRIS—quickly and accurately.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and cash register, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of any software updates.
- Count cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reconciling totals with sales reports to ensure financial integrity.
- Issue receipts and provide correct change, double‑checking each transaction for errors.
- Promote daily specials, loyalty programs, and add‑on items through effective upselling techniques.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily sales reports to management, highlighting trends and any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming cashier station, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Deliver courteous, responsive service to every guest, handling inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
- Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to coordinate order flow and resolve any service bottlenecks.
- Assist in training new cashiers, sharing best practices for accuracy and customer interaction.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates only; age not exceeding 30 years.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a cashier or similar front‑desk role within the hospitality or retail sector.
- Strong mathematical skills with an eye for detail; ability to handle large cash volumes without error.
- Professional appearance and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer operations.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial data.
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
