Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, handling cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Process sales transactions efficiently while ensuring compliance with store policies and local regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including the display of promotional materials and impulse‑buy items.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product questions and resolving minor issues.
- Verify the authenticity of banknotes and monitor for counterfeit currency.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, preparing detailed reports for the store manager.
- Assist with inventory checks, restocking shelves, and preparing merchandise for price changes.
- Collaborate with fellow cashiers, sales assistants, and kitchen staff (for in‑store food services) to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, especially when handling food‑related transactions.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new POS features, promotional campaigns, and customer‑service best practices.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent. Candidates with a junior high school diploma (SMP) may be considered for kitchen‑related duties.
- Age: Applicants must be 27 years old or younger.
- Gender: All genders are welcome to apply.
- Physical Standards: Minimum height of 165 cm for males and 155 cm for females; candidates must be in good physical and mental health.
- Experience: No prior experience required, though familiarity with basic cash‑handling or hospitality (waiter) roles is a plus.
- Key Skills: Ability to operate a cash register system, strong numerical aptitude, excellent communication, and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Availability: Ability to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
