Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, and organize ingredients according to the day’s menu, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, mixers, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
- Execute standard cooking and assembly tasks under the guidance of chefs, including sautéing, grilling, and plating.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station by following HACCP and local health‑code regulations, including regular sanitizing of surfaces and equipment.
- Assist in inventory control by receiving deliveries, checking stock quality, labeling, and rotating products to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with line cooks, sous chefs, and front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and seamless service flow.
- Monitor kitchen workflow, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements to enhance efficiency during peak periods.
- Handle waste disposal responsibly, adhering to environmental and safety protocols.
- Participate in daily briefings, report any equipment malfunctions, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Adapt quickly to changing menu items, special promotions, and customer dietary requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.

- Prior experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment is preferred but not mandatory; on‑the‑job training is provided.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.

- Capacity to perform under pressure during busy service periods.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg, and perform repetitive motions safely.
