Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and line cooks with food preparation, portioning, and plating according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workspace by adhering to HACCP and local health regulations.
- Perform routine inventory checks, receive and store deliveries, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, slicers, and dishwashers, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Document daily production logs, waste reports, and any incidents, supporting the administrative side of kitchen management.
- Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, communicating any delays or special requests.
- Assist in preparing and replenishing buffet stations, catering trays, and special event setups as needed.
- Participate in regular team briefings, safety drills, and continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (as stipulated by the employer).
- Age: Between 18 and 27 years old.
- Education: Minimum of SMA/SMK or equivalent (high school diploma).
- Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen, food service, or related hospitality role.
- Core Skills: Strong administrative abilities, including accurate record‑keeping and basic computer literacy.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, supporting both culinary and service teams.
- Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
- Communication: Clear, courteous verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia (and basic English is a plus).
- Reliability: Punctual attendance for a schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Professionalism: Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adherence to company policies and dress code.
