Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and fry a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, and food processors.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients, notify the supervisor of low inventory, and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety practices, including proper hand washing, temperature control, and cross‑contamination prevention.
- Collaborate closely with chefs, line cooks, and service staff to coordinate order flow and ensure timely service.
- Assist in daily kitchen set‑up and end‑of‑day cleaning, ensuring all workstations are organized and sanitized.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, such as reducing waste, optimizing prep times, and enhancing workflow efficiency.
- Provide mentorship to junior kitchen assistants, sharing best practices and fostering a positive team environment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and occupational regulations, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
- Utilize personal transportation to reliably arrive for scheduled shifts and, when required, support off‑site catering events.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in the FnB industry is preferred, though enthusiastic newcomers with a willingness to learn are welcomed.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: Applicants must be of legal working age; no upper age limit.
- Key Skills: Ability to fry and operate basic kitchen equipment, good attitude, strong work ethic, and reliable personal vehicle.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
