We are seeking motivated individuals to fill the positions of Assistant Chef and Professional Chef – International Cuisine Specialist. Responsibilities
- Assist the head chef in preparing, cooking, and plating a diverse range of international dishes while maintaining the restaurant’s signature flavor profile.
- Execute daily mise‑en‑place tasks, including ingredient preparation, portion control, and proper storage to ensure smooth service flow.
- Monitor and uphold food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local health regulations and the restaurant’s internal policies.
- Participate in menu development, suggesting innovative dishes, ingredient substitutions, and plating techniques that align with current culinary trends.
- Conduct regular inventory checks, manage stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to minimize waste and control costs.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative atmosphere and promoting continuous skill improvement.
- Perform thorough kitchen equipment cleaning and routine maintenance to guarantee a safe working environment.
- Engage in pre‑service and post‑service briefings, communicating any operational challenges and celebrating team successes.
- Pass the mandatory Food Test assessment; only candidates who meet this criterion will be hired.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience, preferably with exposure to international cuisines.

- Demonstrated proficiency in traditional Indonesian cooking techniques, with a strong willingness to learn global culinary methods.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, essential for coordinating with front‑of‑house staff and fellow chefs.
