Responsibilities
- Welcome passengers aboard, verify tickets, and provide clear boarding instructions.
- Conduct safety briefings, demonstrate emergency procedures, and ensure all safety equipment is functional.
- Monitor passenger behavior, enforce railway regulations, and address any incidents promptly.
- Coordinate with the train driver to manage departure and arrival times, ensuring adherence to the schedule.
- Perform routine checks of train compartments, including lighting, ventilation, and cleanliness.
- Handle cash or electronic transactions for on‑board sales such as snacks and souvenirs, maintaining accurate records.
- Report any technical faults or maintenance needs to the operations control center.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during night shifts, emergencies, or service disruptions.
- Collaborate with station staff to manage passenger flow during peak hours and special events.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and passenger feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; SMK preferred.
- Age: Up to 40 years old.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- Residency: Must hold a valid domicile and KTP (identity card) from Jawa Timur.
- Willingness to work night shifts and flexible schedules, including Saturdays.
- Excellent physical health and mental resilience; ability to stand for long periods.
- Strong discipline, quick responsiveness, high initiative, and agility.
- Basic proficiency in operating a motorbike for on‑site mobility when required.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Prior experience in customer service, transportation, or public safety roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
