Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver goods using a personal motorcycle, adhering strictly to safety protocols and delivery schedules.
- Inspect orders before departure and after delivery to verify completeness, accuracy, and condition of items.
- Assist with loading and unloading of packages from the motorcycle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, capture electronic signatures where required, and report any incidents or discrepancies to the operations team promptly.
- Communicate with customers courteously, provide real‑time updates on delivery status, and resolve minor issues on site.
- Perform routine checks on the motorcycle, including fuel level, tire pressure, and overall mechanical condition, to guarantee vehicle reliability.
- Utilize a smartphone equipped with Android OS (minimum 4 GB RAM) to navigate routes, manage digital paperwork, and stay connected with dispatch.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing feedback on route efficiency, customer experience, and operational challenges.
Requirements
- Education: All educational levels accepted; a high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
- Age: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not older than 45 years.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: No prior courier experience required; fresh graduates and career changers are encouraged to apply.
- Vehicle: Own a well‑maintained motorcycle in good working order.
- Technology: Possess an Android smartphone with a minimum of 4 GB RAM for route planning and reporting.
- Residence: Must reside within the designated delivery area in Batam or be willing to relocate.
- Skills: Basic digital communication tools, good time‑management, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently.
- Work Hours: Standard schedule from 08:00 to 17:00, with the possibility of overtime during peak periods.
