As a courier, you will be the face of Shopee Xpress, ensuring that customers receive their orders quickly, safely, and with a smile. Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver parcels using a personal motorcycle, adhering to the planned route and delivery schedule.
- Inspect each order before departure and after delivery to verify package integrity and accuracy.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from the motorcycle, handling goods with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records by logging pickup and drop‑off times, signatures, and any delivery issues in the Shopee Xpress app.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding any delays, address changes, or special instructions.
- Utilize Google Maps and the company’s routing system to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency.
- Report daily activity summaries, mileage, and any incidents to the operations team for compliance and performance tracking.
- Keep the motorcycle clean and well‑maintained, performing routine checks on fuel, tires, and brakes.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety protocols to ensure personal and public safety.
- Provide excellent customer service, representing Shopee Xpress’s brand values of reliability and friendliness.
Requirements
- Minimum education: all levels accepted; high school diploma preferred.
- Open to candidates of any gender and age, with no upper age limit.
- Valid and active Indonesian SIM C driver’s license.
- Ownership of a well‑maintained motorcycle suitable for city and suburban deliveries.
- Smartphone with Android operating system, at least 4 GB RAM, and ability to install and use the Shopee Xpress delivery app.
- Basic understanding of Google Maps navigation and willingness to learn the company’s routing software.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to interact politely with customers.
- Physical capability to lift and carry parcels up to 20 kg repeatedly throughout the shift.
