Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register accurately, process payments (cash, debit/credit cards, digital wallets) and issue receipts.
- Provide friendly, courteous assistance to customers, answering questions about laundry services, pricing, and promotional offers.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, ensuring all promotional materials are displayed correctly.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation, prepare shift reports, and securely handle deposits.
- Assist with inventory control by tracking supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and packaging materials.
- Coordinate with the laundry floor staff to ensure timely delivery of finished orders and resolve any service issues.
- Handle customer complaints professionally, escalating to management when necessary while aiming for rapid resolution.
- Support promotional campaigns by upselling add‑on services (e.g., stain removal, express service) and distributing flyers.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, especially when handling cash and cleaning the checkout area.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new service offerings, point‑of‑sale system upgrades, and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
