Introduction
The Manajer Operasional Bar & Layanan Pelanggan will lead the daily operations of a vibrant bar and customer‑service hub located in Banyuwangi. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast‑paced hospitality environment and is eager to ensure that both the back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house teams deliver a seamless, high‑quality experience to every guest. Working a Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule from 08:00 to 17:00, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing shift rotations, overseeing inventory, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and service standards.
- Develop and manage staff rotas, including shift work and overtime, to guarantee adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages, supplies, and equipment; conduct regular stock counts and place orders as needed.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to improve barista techniques, cocktail preparation, and customer interaction skills.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally, turning potential issues into opportunities for loyalty building.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to synchronize order flow and maintain optimal wait times.
- Analyze sales data and generate weekly performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and cash handling.
- Lead by example in maintaining a positive attitude, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Participate in marketing initiatives, such as special promotions, theme nights, and community events, to drive foot traffic.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old (flexible based on experience).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Residence: Must be domiciled in Banyuwangi or willing to relocate.
- Experience: No prior experience required, but previous exposure to bar or customer‑service environments is a plus.
- Availability to work rotating shifts and overtime as business demands dictate.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is advantageous.
- Demonstrated good attitude, honesty, responsibility, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Basic barista skills, including coffee brewing, latte art, and knowledge of drink recipes.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
