Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily transportation activities for both inbound and outbound shipments.
- Develop and monitor route plans using Google Maps and advanced logistics software to minimize fuel consumption and delivery times.
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse managers, and third‑party carriers to ensure seamless hand‑offs and on‑time deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and driver performance.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including compliance with SIM A regulations and vehicle inspections.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, propose process improvements, and report key performance indicators to senior management.
- Manage a team of logistics personnel, providing coaching, performance feedback, and training on best practices.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports covering cost analysis, delivery performance, and inventory turnover.
- Handle escalations such as delayed shipments, vehicle breakdowns, or customer complaints with prompt, effective solutions.
- Travel to regional hubs and customer sites as needed, ensuring on‑site support for critical operations.
Requirements
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Valid SIM A (motor vehicle driver’s license).
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics or transportation management; experience in a similar managerial role is preferred.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting Google Maps and other navigation tools.
- Willingness to be assigned to locations outside the primary city, including occasional overnight stays.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to lead and motivate staff.
