Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Senior Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales operations across multiple territories in Indonesia. This pivotal role reports directly to the Head of Sales and is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and fostering strong relationships with retail partners. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands‑on leadership, ensuring that the sales team consistently exceeds its monthly targets while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a regional sales team of supervisors and field representatives to achieve and surpass monthly sales quotas.
- Monitor daily sales activities, including store visits, sell‑out performance, and visual merchandising compliance, using CRM and reporting tools.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, promotional calendars, and trade‑in initiatives tailored to the gadget, telecommunications, retail, and FMCG sectors.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and deliver targeted coaching to improve individual and team effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and channel stakeholders to maximize shelf presence and promotional impact.
- Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management for data‑driven decision making.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adjust tactics and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations while traveling extensively across the assigned region.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field; a Diploma (D3) is also acceptable.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Sales Supervisor or equivalent role, preferably within the gadget, telecommunications, retail, or FMCG industries.
- Proven track record of managing a geographically dispersed sales force and achieving measurable revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of area coverage planning, route optimization, and field team management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with a clear orientation toward targets.
- Ability to travel extensively; possession of a valid driver’s license and an active SIM card for mobile communication.
- Competence in using sales analytics tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM platforms.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend or evening commitments for major events.
