Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Merchandiser – Penanggung Jawab Penataan Produk to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our product displays are attractive, well‑stocked, and aligned with brand standards across all retail locations. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, store managers, and the sales team to drive product visibility and maximize sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute product placement strategies to optimize shelf space and improve the shopper’s experience.
- Conduct regular stock opname and cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate favorable terms.
- Monitor merchandising standards, ensuring that promotional displays, signage, and pricing are up‑to‑date.
- Prepare and present weekly reports on stock levels, sales trends, and merchandising effectiveness using Microsoft Office tools.
- Train store staff on proper product handling, shelving techniques, and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for product assortment improvements and propose actionable recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to safety and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a merchandiser or in a related retail role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to build rapport with suppliers and internal teams.
- High level of honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience performing stock opname, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, logistics partners, and store managers.
