Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits to farmer kiosks, cooperatives, and agricultural fairs to promote hybrid corn seed varieties and related pesticide products.
- Identify and develop new distribution channels (R1, R2) within the assigned territories, ensuring optimal product placement and availability.
- Provide on‑site technical assistance and training sessions to farmers, explaining planting techniques, pest management, and best‑practice agronomy.
- Collect and analyze market data on corn production trends, competitor activities, and farmer preferences to inform sales forecasts.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional activities with local retailers and wholesalers, securing favorable agreements for both parties.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, market feedback, and field observations for senior management.
- Coordinate with the product development team to relay farmer feedback for new seed varieties and pesticide formulations.
- Maintain a personal motor vehicle and valid SIM C, ensuring reliable transportation for daily field operations.
- Uphold health and safety standards while working in diverse outdoor conditions, demonstrating physical stamina and mental resilience.
Requirements
- Male candidates aged between 20 and 45 years (all genders are welcome to apply).
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a D3 or S1 degree in Agricultural Science.
- Residency in East Java, specifically Banyuwangi or Probolinggo, is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing hybrid corn seeds; experience with pesticides is a plus.
- In‑depth knowledge of local corn production potential and familiarity with R1 and R2 distribution channels.
- Possession of a valid SIM C and a reliable motorbike for field travel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a talent for conducting farmer outreach and educational sessions.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently in the field, and comfortable handling a demanding workload.
- Good physical health and a strong work ethic, ready to engage with farmers daily.
