Introduction
We are seeking a proactive Officer – Vendor Management (VM) to join our dynamic procurement and supply‑chain team. This role is pivotal in fostering strong, cost‑effective relationships with our external suppliers and service providers. The successful candidate will operate in a fast‑paced environment, supporting the organization’s strategic goals by ensuring that vendor performance aligns with quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints. The position is full‑time, Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and is open to candidates of any gender with a minimum education level of D3/D4 (S1 preferred).
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors while maintaining an up‑to‑date supplier database.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, service level agreements (SLAs) and renewal terms to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor vendor performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and regular review meetings.
- Resolve escalated issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, or billing discrepancies, using analytical problem‑solving techniques.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as procurement, finance, logistics, and operations to align vendor capabilities with project requirements.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on vendor risk, cost savings, and compliance for senior management.
- Maintain accurate documentation, contracts, and audit trails in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements, automation opportunities, and best‑practice sharing across the vendor ecosystem.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4; Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in vendor management, supplier relationship management, or procurement (0+ years acceptable for fresh graduates with strong internships).
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and build long‑lasting professional relationships.
- Strong analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving abilities and comfort working with data and KPI dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and a detail‑oriented approach to documentation.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline‑focused environment.
- Proficiency in standard office software (MS Office, especially Excel) and experience with ERP or vendor management systems is a plus.
- Open to working six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) with a fixed schedule of 08:00‑17:00.
