Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a courteous smile, escort them to their tables, and present menus in a timely manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and confirm any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Deliver orders to guests promptly, ensuring proper presentation and completeness of each dish and drink.
- Monitor tables throughout the service period, refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and responding to additional requests.
- Perform table set‑up before service and thorough clean‑up after guests leave, maintaining a tidy and organized dining area.
- Maintain cleanliness of the service stations, floor, and surrounding areas, adhering to Omah Kopi’s hygiene standards.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, baristas, and fellow servers to coordinate timing and ensure seamless service flow.
- Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and issue accurate receipts while following company cash‑handling procedures.
- Assist in inventory checks of napkins, cutlery, and tableware, reporting any shortages to the shift supervisor.
- Participate in regular briefings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, promotional offers, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 26 years old.
- Open to all genders; candidates must not be currently enrolled in a full‑time academic program.
- Presentable appearance with a neat and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (and basic English is a plus).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt quickly to shifting schedules.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or café setting is desirable but not required; we welcome enthusiastic newcomers.
