Introduction
Kanata Salon, a vibrant beauty and wellness brand based in Kediri, is seeking a creative and dynamic Video Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to join our team on a full‑time basis. This role is perfect for a Gen Z‑savvy woman who lives locally, loves visual storytelling, and is eager to shape the digital presence of a fast‑growing salon. You will work on‑site, collaborating closely with our owners, stylists, and clients to produce engaging Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and other social media assets that showcase our services, promote special offers, and build a loyal online community.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish daily content for Kanata Salon’s Instagram and TikTok channels, including short‑form videos, carousel posts, stories, and captions that reflect current trends.
- Develop a monthly content calendar that aligns with seasonal promotions, holidays, and salon events, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries across WhatsApp, Instagram Direct, and TikTok inbox, turning conversations into conversion opportunities.
- Manage the personal and affiliate social media accounts of the salon owner, handling posting schedules, basic photo/video editing, and community engagement.
- Assist the owner with editing testimonial videos, product reviews, and before‑and‑after treatment footage, ensuring high production quality.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging TikTok challenges, Instagram Reel formats, and algorithm changes, adapting strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
- Document in‑salon treatment processes, capturing before‑after transformations that highlight the effectiveness of our services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm campaign ideas, run paid social experiments, and analyze performance metrics.
- Maintain a tidy digital asset library, organizing raw footage, graphics, and licensed music for easy retrieval.
Requirements
- Female, aged 20‑30 years (preferably Gen Z) with a residence in Kediri or surrounding areas.
- Minimum educational qualification: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor’s degree).
- At least 1 year of proven experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok, preferably within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
- Proficiency with basic editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, VN, or similar applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to respond to customers with a friendly and professional tone.
- Strong multitasking abilities, quick learning aptitude, and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
- Not currently employed full‑time elsewhere; able to commit to on‑site work at the salon every weekday.
- Demonstrated awareness of current social media trends, viral challenges, and platform‑specific best practices.
