Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Pengemudi BII Umum to join our logistics team covering the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area, with a primary base in Cakung, East Jakarta. This role is essential for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods across the metropolitan region, supporting our commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Wingbox truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes throughout Jabodetabek, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo, performing visual inspections to verify condition and completeness of shipments.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including waybills, proof of delivery (POD) forms, and electronic logs using an Android smartphone.
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules, traffic conditions, and any unexpected delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report mechanical issues promptly, and coordinate basic maintenance to keep the truck in optimal condition.
- Follow a rotating three‑shift schedule (07:00‑15:00, 15:00‑22:00, 22:00‑07:00) and work six days per week (Tuesday‑Sunday), ensuring coverage for peak delivery periods.
- Participate in safety briefings and training sessions, promoting a culture of zero‑accident operations.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation when required, helping the warehouse team manage stock levels efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only; age between 35 and 50 years (maximum 50 years).
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience, preferably with a Wingbox truck (1‑2 years preferred).
- Active BII (General) driver’s license (SIM BII Umum) with a clean driving record.
- Ownership of a functional Android smartphone for route navigation and digital reporting.
- Ability to work flexible three‑shift patterns and adapt to varying traffic conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including courteous communication with customers and teamwork with dispatch staff.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
