Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Inventory Placement Controller to join our logistics team in the Bekasi region. This pivotal role ensures that all incoming and stored goods are accurately recorded, properly stored, and maintained in optimal condition. The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse supervisors, quality assurance personnel, and the supply‑chain management system to guarantee seamless inventory flow across the Jabodetabek area.
Responsibilities
- Verify the consistency between delivery documents (surat jalan) and the physical goods received.
- Conduct regular temperature checks of freezers and chillers, recording readings on the designated forms.
- Cross‑check sales orders (SO) with physical inventory during inbound processing.
- Document any discrepancies such as over‑receipts, bad stock, or shortages, and initiate corrective actions.
- Enter received quantities into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and flag items that are not accepted.
- Organize stock using FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expired First Out) methodologies to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Measure and log temperature data twice per shift, ensuring compliance with food‑safety standards.
- Record disposal activities for defective or expired products, ensuring proper destruction and regulatory compliance.
- Support shift handovers by providing clear, written summaries of daily activities and any outstanding issues.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to investigate and resolve recurring inventory anomalies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates, age 35 or younger.
- At least one year of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related logistics role.
- Willingness to be stationed in the Jabodetabek area and to work rotating shift schedules.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
- High attention to detail, ability to follow instructions meticulously, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel for reporting.
- Physical agility and stamina to handle repetitive tasks, lift moderate weights, and move throughout the warehouse.
- Self‑motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently while also thriving in a collaborative environment.
- Basic knowledge of food‑safety standards and temperature monitoring is advantageous.
