Introduction
PT. Bumi Daya Plaza is expanding its field operations in the Bengkulu region and is seeking a dedicated Pengumpul Data Lapangan (Field Data Collector) to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining strong relationships with our borrowers, ensuring timely payments, and supporting the overall health of our loan portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a proactive male professional, aged 34 or younger, with at least one year of experience in debt collection or a related field, and a willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to debtor locations, presenting a professional image of the company.
- Perform thorough follow‑up on payment schedules, verifying that each transaction is accurately entered into the central system.
- Maintain high collection quality by encouraging timely settlements and offering flexible repayment options when appropriate.
- Document all interactions, update debtor records, and provide detailed daily reports to the supervisory team.
- Collaborate with the finance and customer service departments to resolve payment disputes and improve collection processes.
- Adhere to the company’s code of ethics, ensuring confidentiality and respect for all client information.
- Participate in regular training sessions on collection best practices, legal compliance, and the use of our proprietary loan management software.
- Utilize a motor vehicle responsibly, maintaining a valid driver’s license (SIM) and complying with all road safety regulations.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Male.
- Age: 34 years or younger.
- Experience: At least 1 year in debt collection, credit control, or a related financial field.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and handle sensitive conversations.
- Driving Ability: Valid motor vehicle license (SIM) and safe driving record.
- Preferred: Professional certification in financing collection (Sertifikasi SPPI).
- Personal Attributes: High ethical standards, strong organizational skills, resilience under pressure, and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Willingness to be placed at PT. Bumi Daya Plaza’s partner location in Bengkulu.
