This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in warehouse management, order processing, and driver coordination, providing a solid foundation for a career in the supply‑chain industry.
Responsibilities
- Order Monitoring (Picker): Continuously monitor the incoming order queue, verify order details, and ensure that each new order is promptly acknowledged in the system.
- Print & Prepare Invoices: Generate and print inventory (inv) orders, cross‑check quantities against physical stock, and resolve any discrepancies before picking.
- Item Selection: Retrieve items from storage locations according to the printed inv order, using handheld scanners to confirm SKU accuracy and maintain real‑time inventory updates.
- Barcode Scanning (Packer): Scan each product’s barcode as it moves from picking to packing, ensuring traceability and reducing the risk of mis‑shipments.
- Packaging: Pack items securely following company‑specified guidelines—select appropriate boxes, add protective materials, and label packages correctly to withstand transit.
- Driver Coordination: Initiate the driver call‑out process through the warehouse management system, transmit order details, and physically load the prepared parcels into the driver’s bag or trolley.
- Quality Assurance: Perform final visual inspections, verify that all items match the order sheet, and confirm that documentation is complete before hand‑over.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy work area, adhere to occupational safety protocols, and report any hazards or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest process enhancements, participate in daily briefings, and embrace training sessions aimed at increasing efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: 35 years or younger.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational policy).
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates and career changers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions with meticulous attention to detail.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading order sheets and handling inventory counts.
- Good physical stamina – ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate loads for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Reliability and punctuality; consistent attendance is essential for meeting delivery SLAs.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with warehouse supervisors, drivers, and fellow team members.
- Willingness to work the scheduled shift of 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
