Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Porter – Layanan Pengantar Barang to join our dynamic logistics team in Jakarta Utara. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution network, ensuring that goods are handled safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities
- Lift, carry, and relocate a wide variety of items, ranging from small parcels to bulky pallets, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated warehouse zones, maintaining orderly aisles and clear labeling for easy retrieval.
- Assist the operational team during loading and unloading activities, ensuring that shipments are accurately accounted for and protected from damage.
- Prepare outgoing consignments by verifying contents against shipping documents and securing items on trucks or containers.
- Conduct routine checks of handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Support inventory audits by counting stock, reporting discrepancies, and updating system records as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues across shifts to maintain a seamless workflow and meet daily targets.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and participation in regular safety briefings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; any study field is acceptable.
- Open to fresh graduates or candidates with experience as warehouse helpers, staff, or in related manual labor roles.
- Male candidates only, as specified by the client’s operational needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Demonstrated adaptability and quick learning ability in a shifting work environment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early mornings or evenings when required.
- Residence within the designated service area in Jakarta Utara or willingness to relocate.
- Physical fitness to handle repetitive lifting and moving of heavy items safely.
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and a commitment to teamwork.
