Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a professional demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring any dietary restrictions or special requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, checking back with guests to guarantee satisfaction throughout the meal.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, resetting tables quickly after each guest departs.
- Handle payment transactions efficiently, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payment platforms.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper food handling and personal hygiene.
- Assist in inventory checks for tableware, linens, and condiments, reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings and post‑shift debriefings to share feedback and improve service quality.
- Promote daily specials, upsell complementary items, and suggest wine or beverage pairings when appropriate.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates only; unmarried status preferred.
- Age 18 years or older; no upper age limit.
- Honest, disciplined, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- At least 0 years of prior experience in food and beverage service (training will be provided).
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to speak basic English is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and carry trays weighing up to 15 kg.
- Residence near the restaurant or willingness to commute from a nearby location.
