Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, and plate a wide variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily mise en place, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for service.
- Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed to meet taste and visual standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station, adhering to local health regulations and internal HACCP procedures.
- Collaborate closely with chefs, sous‑chefs, and fellow cooks to coordinate timing, portion control, and order flow during peak service periods.
- Contribute ideas for menu development, seasonal specials, and cost‑saving techniques while respecting budget constraints.
- Handle inventory checks, assist in receiving deliveries, and help with proper stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Respond quickly and calmly to high‑pressure situations, such as large banquet orders or unexpected rushes, without compromising quality.
- Participate in regular training sessions on food safety, new cooking techniques, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 32 years maximum.
- Gender: Male (preference) but open to all qualified candidates.
- At least 0 – 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or food preparation environment.
- Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and a strong sense of personal cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proven ability to work hard, stay alert, and maintain productivity under pressure.
- Capability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely.
- Own transportation is a plus, facilitating reliable punctuality for the Bandung location.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
