- Serve meals and drinks promptly, checking in frequently to confirm satisfaction and address any additional needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, polishing silverware, and resetting after each service.
- Handle point‑of‑sale (POS) transactions, process payments, and issue receipts with attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders.
- Promote upselling opportunities by suggesting complementary items and highlighting seasonal offerings.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, performing regular sanitation checks of workstations.
- Participate in pre‑service briefings and post‑service debriefs to continuously improve service quality.
- Respond to guest feedback, resolve concerns professionally, and follow up to guarantee a positive dining experience.
Requirements
- Age: 20‑25 years.
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 qualification; high school (SMK) or equivalent is acceptable.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience as a waiter in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
- Strong public‑speaking and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests confidently.
- Demonstrated sales orientation and ability to meet or exceed daily service targets.
- Solid understanding of hospitality standards, including etiquette, table service, and guest interaction.
- Personal attributes: Honest, detail‑oriented, swift, clean, disciplined, and responsible.
- Preferred: Non‑Muslim candidates, though all genders are welcome to apply.
- Availability: Willing to work 9.5‑hour shifts, Monday through Saturday, with one day off per week.
- Essential skills: Food and beverage service proficiency, ability to handle high‑volume periods, and teamwork mindset.
