Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer inquiries about dishes, specials, and dietary options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them efficiently to kitchen and bar staff, and ensure timely delivery to tables.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing glassware, and monitoring ambiance.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS systems with precision, providing correct change and receipts.
- Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary to guarantee satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with fellow servers, kitchen crew, and supervisors to manage high‑volume periods and maintain smooth service flow.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper food handling, sanitation, and personal grooming.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings, share feedback on menu changes, and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work flexible shift schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, while maintaining a consistent level of enthusiasm.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client’s current staffing needs).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or café setting.
- Professional appearance with a neat, tidy uniform and well‑kept personal grooming.
- Excellent communication skills: polite, articulate, and always ready with a friendly smile.
