Introduction
Adira Finance, a leading multifinance institution in Indonesia, is seeking a diligent and motivated Remedial Officer (Collection) to join our team in Tebing Tinggi (A. Yani). This role is pivotal in safeguarding the company’s financial health by ensuring timely collection of overdue receivables. The successful candidate will work closely with sales, credit, and legal departments, applying strong analytical and interpersonal skills to achieve collection targets while upholding the highest standards of integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the end‑to‑end collection process for accounts receivable (A/R) that are overdue, ensuring all actions are completed within established timelines.
- Conduct daily monitoring of delinquent accounts, prioritize cases based on risk and amount, and develop tailored repayment plans.
- Initiate outbound communication—phone calls, emails, and letters—to borrowers, explaining obligations, negotiating settlements, and securing payment commitments.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities in the company’s CRM system, documenting contact attempts, agreements, and payment receipts.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting team to verify borrower information and assess the feasibility of restructuring options.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting collection performance, aging trends, and any escalations that require legal intervention.
- Support the development of collection policies and standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal risk controls.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings to share insights on borrower behavior and propose improvements to the credit lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate) or S1 (Bachelor) in any discipline; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Age: 30 years or younger at the time of application.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client’s operational policy).
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation ability.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proficiency in credit monitoring tools, debt recovery procedures, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work at the Adira Finance office that matches the candidate’s domicile.
- Work schedule: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
