Introduction
The Sales Akuisisi Merchant EDC position is a pivotal role within our rapidly expanding financial services team, focused on driving the adoption of electronic debit and credit (EDC) machines among micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) throughout Kabupaten Berau. As a front‑line ambassador of our payment solutions, you will build lasting relationships with business owners, educate them on the benefits of cashless transactions, and help them transition to modern, secure point‑of‑sale technology. Responsibilities
- Conduct daily canvassing activities targeting UMKM owners, with a goal of acquiring 2‑3 new EDC machine contracts per day.
- Present product features, pricing, and financing options in clear, customer‑focused language, tailoring the pitch to each merchant’s unique business model.
- Perform on‑site demonstrations of EDC devices, highlighting ease of use, reliability, and security benefits.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects using CRM tools, ensuring timely follow‑ups and accurate record‑keeping.
- Negotiate contract terms, close sales, and coordinate delivery and installation logistics with the operations team.
- Provide post‑sale support, troubleshooting basic issues, and gathering feedback to inform product improvements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging payment technologies to identify new business opportunities.
- Report daily and weekly sales performance, challenges, and insights to the sales manager.
- Uphold company policies regarding compliance, data protection, and ethical conduct in all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in financial services, telecommunications, or related fields.
- Valid SIM C driving license and ownership of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle for travel within Kabupaten Berau.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with diverse merchants.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented mindset with excellent time‑management and organizational abilities.
- Basic analytical skills to interpret sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the broader sales and operations teams.
