Introduction
Shopee is expanding its partner ecosystem across the Greater Surabaya region and is seeking energetic, results‑driven individuals to join the Sales Akuisisi Mitra team. As a field‑based acquisition specialist, you will play a pivotal role in bringing local merchants—such as warungs, convenience stores, and micro‑businesses—onto the Shopee platform. This position combines direct sales, hands‑on training, and relationship management to help merchants unlock new revenue streams through digital payments, QRIS, PPOB, and other e‑commerce services.
Responsibilities
- Merchant Acquisition (Door‑to‑Door): Identify, approach, and engage owners of small‑scale retail outlets in Kota and Kabupaten Surabaya, presenting the value proposition of becoming a Shopee Partner.
- Application Education: Conduct on‑site demonstrations of the Shopee Partner app, guiding merchants through the setup of digital product purchases (pulsa, data, bill payments) and physical inventory listings.
- Activation & Onboarding: Ensure each newly signed partner completes their first transaction, monitors early usage patterns, and provides follow‑up support to drive consistent activity.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly quotas for the number of new partners acquired and the volume of transactions generated.
- Relationship Maintenance: Cultivate ongoing rapport with existing partners, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and act as the primary point of contact for any service inquiries.
- Performance Reporting: Submit detailed daily reports covering visit counts, registrations, transaction progress, and any obstacles encountered, enabling the field coordination team to optimize strategies.
- Market Feedback: Gather insights from merchants about product preferences, pricing sensitivities, and competitive dynamics, feeding this intelligence back to product and marketing teams.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 45 years.
- Gender: open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, specifically in PPOB, QRIS, prepaid top‑up, or related digital payment services.
- Prior work experience with Warung Pintar or similar hyper‑local commerce platforms is highly advantageous.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle, a C‑class driving license, and an active mobile SIM for constant communication.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex digital concepts for non‑technical users.
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, door‑to‑door environment.
- Basic administrative abilities, including accurate data entry and report compilation.
