Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Consultant to join our expanding team in Bandung. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for retailers and end‑customers, delivering product education, managing in‑store displays, and driving sales of our high‑performance paint solutions. This is a field‑based role that requires frequent travel across the Greater Bandung area, a strong customer‑focused mindset, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive product education and personalized consultation to store owners, contractors, and DIY customers.
- Ensure that all product stock, promotional displays, and demo machines are well‑maintained, organized, and presented in a clean, professional manner.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with retailers, key accounts, and internal team members to foster brand loyalty.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by actively promoting paint products, upselling complementary items, and closing new business opportunities.
- Collect market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer feedback, and report insights to the regional sales manager.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to execute in‑store promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Maintain accurate sales documentation, activity logs, and expense reports using the company’s CRM system.
- Travel to assigned stores and customer sites throughout Bandung Raya, adhering to the agreed schedule of Tuesday through Sunday, 08:00–17:00.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product innovations, safety standards, and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; all majors are considered.
- Age not exceeding 30 years.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales promotion, preferably in the paint or building‑materials sector.
- Active SIM C driving license and personal vehicle for field visits.
- Excellent physical and mental health, capable of handling a demanding field schedule.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to convey technical product information clearly.
- Highly organized, honest, loyal, and driven with a strong “hunter” mentality for achieving targets.
- Adaptable to changing market needs and comfortable working independently in a mobile environment.
- Willingness to be stationed anywhere within the Greater Bandung area and to travel extensively as required.
- Core competencies: adaptability to marketing and sales demands, effective field data collection, and proactive problem‑solving.
