Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Officer to join our growing team in Sambas, Kalimantan. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast‑paced sales environment and is eager to build lasting relationships with both existing and new customers. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between the company and its distribution channels, ensuring smooth order processing, accurate credit assessments, and timely delivery of our high‑quality products.

The position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday (08:00 – 16:00) and provides the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the local market while contributing directly to the company’s revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively promote and sell the company’s product portfolio to existing customers and prospect new accounts across the Sambas region.
  • Generate and secure orders through the designated distribution channels, ensuring all required data is captured accurately.
  • Conduct thorough verification of customer documentation and assist in the preparation of credit applications, collaborating closely with the finance team.
  • Monitor the progress of credit applications, providing regular updates and communicating final decisions to dealers and end‑customers.
  • Notify customers of payment due dates, collection locations, and any additional information necessary for smooth transaction completion.
  • Maintain a detailed customer database, track sales performance against targets, and prepare weekly reports for management review.
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs to recommend product enhancements or new sales strategies.
  • Participate in periodic training sessions and sales meetings to continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (all majors) – fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Maximum age: 30 years.
  • At least 1 year of experience in B2C sales, preferably within the same industry; candidates with relevant experience will be given priority.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • High level of integrity, perseverance, meticulousness, and honesty.
  • Valid driver’s license (SIM A/C) and personal vehicle for field visits.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in sales management tools, basic Excel, and CRM software.
