Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and approach potential customers across the Pontianak region, presenting the company’s stationery portfolio and value proposition.
- Receive, verify, and process customer orders via phone, email, or in‑person visits, ensuring all details are captured accurately in the ERP system.
- Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to schedule deliveries, track shipment status, and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
- Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, including new releases, pricing structures, and promotional campaigns, to provide informed recommendations.
- Conduct regular follow‑ups with existing accounts to assess satisfaction, upsell complementary items, and secure repeat business.
- Prepare and present weekly sales reports, forecast future demand, and contribute insights for inventory planning.
- Negotiate terms, discounts, and payment schedules within authorized limits while protecting company margins.
- Represent the company at local trade fairs, school exhibitions, and corporate events to increase brand visibility.
- Adhere to all company policies, including ethical sales practices, data protection, and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the stationery or related fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
- Valid SIM C driver’s license and personal vehicle for client visits and territory coverage.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Personal attributes: honesty, diligence, discipline, and a high level of loyalty to the organization.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple orders simultaneously, and maintain a customer‑focused mindset.
- Willingness to be based full‑time at our Pontianak branch, working Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language proficiency is a plus.
