Introduction
SPX Express is seeking a proactive and organized Shift Lead to join our dynamic logistics team in Lhoksukon, Kabupaten Aceh Utara (NAD). As a critical node in our regional distribution network, the Shift Lead ensures that parcels move smoothly from pickup to final delivery, supporting both our customers and 3PL partners. This role offers a full‑time, shift‑based schedule with opportunities to develop leadership skills in a fast‑growing supply‑chain environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily schedules for courier pick‑ups, ensuring optimal routing and time‑window compliance.
- Supervise the end‑to‑end shipping and receiving processes, including verification of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Define and adjust delivery zones based on traffic patterns, customer density, and operational capacity.
- Coordinate closely with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers, guaranteeing accurate hand‑offs and timely updates.
- Oversee sorting operations, implementing best practices for inventory accuracy and minimizing handling errors.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, parcel damage rates, and workforce productivity.
- Conduct shift handovers, documenting any issues, exceptions, or equipment maintenance needs.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff and couriers, providing on‑the‑spot coaching, conflict resolution, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement efficiency projects.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field is a plus.
- 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of warehousing operations, parcel sorting, and last‑mile delivery processes.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including strategic decision‑making, team motivation, and problem‑solving.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, with a standard schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 09:30 – 18:30.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Lhoksukon, Kabupaten Aceh Utara (NAD).
