Introduction

We are expanding our Surabaya hub to meet the growing demand for fast, reliable e‑commerce fulfillment and are looking for diligent, energetic individuals to join our team as Sorter Gudang SPX. This entry‑level position offers a supportive work environment, on‑site accommodation (mess), and the chance to develop foundational skills in warehouse operations and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Sort incoming and outgoing parcels according to SKU, destination, and priority, ensuring accurate placement within the warehouse.
- Follow detailed instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor or Store Manager, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with fellow sorters, forklift operators, and loading crew to maintain a smooth workflow throughout each shift.
- Achieve daily sorting targets set by management, typically handling 500‑800 parcels per shift while maintaining high accuracy.
- Load and unload packages from delivery trucks, using hand trucks or pallet jacks as required.
- Scan each package using handheld barcode scanners, updating the warehouse management system (WMS) in real time.
- Conduct routine checks for damaged or mislabeled items and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, participating in regular housekeeping and safety inspections.
- Assist in periodic inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment when needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Male candidates only (as per current operational policy).
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on‑the‑job training.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for scanning and label verification.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move packages weighing up to 25 kg for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to follow clear instructions.
- Commitment to punctuality and meeting daily productivity targets.
- Awareness of basic warehouse safety practices, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.
