Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in‑process components, and finished goods using calibrated measuring instruments and visual checks.
- Document all quality findings in the company’s electronic quality management system (QMS) and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.
- Identify non‑conformities, initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and follow up to verify effective implementation.
- Collaborate with production teams to develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) that enhance product consistency.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring readiness for ISO 9001, HACCP, or industry‑specific certifications.
- Train new staff on quality inspection techniques, proper use of equipment, and documentation practices.
- Monitor key quality metrics such as defect rates, yield percentages, and rework costs, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Support supplier qualification activities by performing incoming material inspections and evaluating supplier performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company health‑and‑safety policies.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Educational background: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or quality assurance is a plus.
- Prior experience in a Quality Control (QC) environment preferred, though motivated newcomers are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a systematic approach to problem solving.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform inspections at various heights.
- Commitment to maintaining personal health and mental well‑being, contributing to a safe workplace.
- Familiarity with basic statistical tools (e.g., Pareto analysis, control charts) is advantageous.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with occasional overtime during peak production periods.
