Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Guru Diniyah to join our foundation as a specialist in early childhood Islamic education. The role focuses on nurturing the spiritual and moral development of children aged 0‑5 years through age‑appropriate lessons, storytelling, and interactive activities. Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Islamic education lessons for children aged 0‑5, incorporating Quranic verses, Hadith, and moral stories.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and respect.
  • Develop age‑appropriate teaching materials, visual aids, and interactive activities that reinforce core Islamic principles.
  • Assess each child’s progress through observation, informal quizzes, and parent feedback, adjusting instruction as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow teachers, senior educators, and administrative staff to align curriculum with the foundation’s educational standards.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, professional development workshops, and community outreach events.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans, and performance reports in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Uphold the foundation’s code of conduct, ensuring punctuality, professionalism, and respect for cultural sensitivities.
  • Engage parents through regular communication, parent‑teacher conferences, and newsletters that highlight children’s achievements and upcoming activities.
  • Commit to a minimum one‑year contract, demonstrating long‑term dedication to the institution’s mission.

Requirements

  • Male, practicing Muslim.
  • Minimum education: D3/Ma’had Aly; a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Islamic Education or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of professional teaching experience, preferably with early‑year or preschool children.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience when interacting with young learners and their families.
  • Commitment to following the foundation’s internal regulations and ethical standards.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional participation in weekend events.
  • Proficiency in creating lesson plans, using educational technology, and employing modern pedagogical methods.
  • Passion for continuous professional development, including attendance at training sessions on Islamic pedagogy and early childhood education.
