Introduction
JNT Pekanbaru is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our growing delivery team as Sprinter/Kurir Motor. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy the dynamic environment of last‑mile logistics, have a passion for punctual service, and possess a personal motorcycle in excellent condition. As a courier, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that parcels reach customers safely, on time, and with a professional attitude.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and transport parcels and cargo using a personal motorcycle, adhering to all safety regulations and company standards.
- Deliver items to designated addresses throughout the Pekanbaru area, maintaining accurate route planning to meet delivery windows.
- Inspect each order before departure and after delivery to confirm completeness, correct documentation, and product integrity.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods at both the dispatch center and customer locations, ensuring careful handling of fragile items.
- Maintain a daily delivery log, record mileage, fuel consumption, and any incident reports, then submit these records to the logistics supervisor.
- Communicate proactively with the dispatch team via smartphone to receive updates, report delays, and request assistance when needed.
- Provide courteous customer service, answer basic inquiries, and obtain signatures or electronic confirmations upon successful delivery.
- Perform routine checks of the motorcycle (tires, brakes, oil, lights) before each shift to guarantee operational readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 50 years; no upper limit on years of experience.
- Valid driver’s license for a motorcycle and a personal motorcycle in prime condition.
- Residency within the assigned service area of Pekanbaru.
- Own an Android smartphone with at least 3 GB RAM to run JNT’s delivery app and communication tools.
- Ability to read, write, and speak Bahasa Indonesia clearly; basic English is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow delivery instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to lift packages up to 20 kg and perform loading/unloading tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 07:00 – 16:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
