Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Staff Accountant to join our fast‑growing Insatsu – Custom Apparel and Merchandise division. This role will support the financial backbone of a dynamic company that designs, prints, and distributes customized apparel for corporate clients, events, and retail partners across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate transaction recording, preparation of financial statements, cash management, and assisting with annual tax filings. Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payroll, and expense reimbursements, using the company’s ERP system.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial statements in accordance with Indonesian GAAP.
- Manage cash flow by monitoring cash inflows and outflows, performing bank reconciliations, and ensuring proper documentation of all cash movements.
- Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, receipts, contracts, and other financial documents, guaranteeing audit readiness.
- Assist the senior accountant in the preparation and submission of annual tax returns (SPT) and other regulatory filings.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate historical data and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with the production and sales teams to verify cost allocations, inventory adjustments, and pricing structures.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance internal controls.
- Participate in internal and external audits, supplying required schedules and explanations as needed.
- Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis for management decision‑making, such as profitability of new product lines or cost‑benefit assessments of equipment purchases.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMK/MAK accounting or equivalent; D1/D2/D3/D4/S1 in Accounting is strongly preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, or cash administration. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply if they demonstrate strong academic performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulae; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Zahir, MYOB, or SAP) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, financial statement preparation, and cost accounting concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail, high integrity, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is advantageous for dealing with international clients.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, deadline‑driven team environment.
